Cause Parker's a smart fellow and he found that, though it really looks sexy, the flex in the stock 4-blader loses a LOT of horsepower at the levels that John is seeing with his Thunder....

The unfortunate thing about that threestick... from everything I've seen, heard and read.. It's a really impressive, crowd pleasing prop. It makes engine/prop music like nothing else ever will...

The big problem with it is, it is not faster than the four blade and it's a bitch to fly behind. Probably worse than a bitch, from what the guys who have flown it say, if I'm understanding correctly, it's a killer waiting for its chance to bury itself and whatever else is hooked to it in the desert..

Nice sound, remember the experience... forget about it and hope you never see it on an airplane again..

Okay, I guess as long as the Thunder Bearcat can utilize a Shoestring fuselage and wing, an elevator from a full-size Bearcat, and the engine mount from a Griffon-powered Mustang (but utilizing the engine from Boo Ray), he should be in great shape!
