  • For Wolfee..Is this your dad?

Was this the flight you were talking about??

According to envelope the pictures are in, this was 1985....of course it was in the next to last envelope in the box...I should have started from the back.....hehe

I can remember watching him fly.

Thanks for taking the time to look, but saddly no, that is not my dad.

the S-232 never looked that nice. 87 is in the ball park for the year though, I would say it would have been 85

A Grob (every one I flew had that same paint flash and tail stripes), or possibly an ASK-21. Many hours in both, many memories.
The 2-32 is larger (3 place if trey're not too big) and all metal.

I think anything later then '85 is probably on slides. But, I'll run through my listing and see if I have any others... Only other glider shot I know I have from Reno is a distant shot of a dual aero tow....

For that matter I might have it on video.....hmmm sounds like it's time for a Reno movie night....

the duel tow would have been the S-132s that were based out of stead at the time, and if memory servs. Would have been flown by Charlie Thies, and ugh brain fart. but my dad was the anouncer for the act and composed the background music.

This would have been a year before my father flew his act.
