            Could've been, I wasn't there but was told by a couple of people Salinas. Had the pleasure of watching it go together for the last year or so.

              I'm pretty sure the test flights were done out of Hollister and both pictures look like it to me. They would have had to dismantle it from Hollister (where they had reassembled it) to get to Salinas. Hollister is probably a better test location too. See their website: www.turbinetoucan.com

                    No worries about the airframe, it's based on the Pitts Model12/Pitts Python.
