Please give my regards to Porterville. I grew up there and my interest in flying got started there by one of my high school teachers that was a pilot and flight instructor.

I was there at the airport when the following happened.

My history on the aircraft in question in vague. But I believe that at the time of the accident, it was a very rare bird to see in the air.

The Moonlight Fly-in was always fun, it was great to meet so many people.

Two years before the O-47 accendent there was a plane that started up and back fired and started a grass fire out there they got all the other planes except a Monney Might that was destroyed and they had to waite for the fire department to come form the town. Shawn
