Great song though, in it's original Elton form. In the mid 70's my local rock station had a song face-off. They'd play 2 songs back-to-back, and listeners would call in to vote for the winner.

Afterwards, the winning song would compete against another popular track, and so on. They must have gone through 100 rock and soft-rock hits or more.

Rocketman did better than any other song, KO'ing 22 popular hits before it was finally knocked down from it's throne.
