West Memphis rumors?

I'm starting to have a feeling that the West Memphis Air Races aren't going to happen this year, but I was curious if anyone had heard any rumors so far. Before Tunica, we knew atleast something by this point as I recall. If its not to be, that'll suck extar given there won't be any serious airshow events in the Arkansas area.

I got curious and emailed Jeff Landers (www.americanairraces.com) about a week ago. He said he could not get a letter of intent from West Memphis, so no-go this year. Bummer! Jeff did say he was working on a couple of venues for 08 now. Here's hoping for us East Coast fans!
