  • OT: Aircraft ID help.

A couple of MC-130E/P flew into Reno. On the scanner they said they were from Florida. My son and I wanted to find what unit they are with, but the only ID on the planes were the stars and bars and tail#'s.
The numbers were right under USAF 50011 and 80192. Is there a website or something to figure this out?

    Thanks.

I don't know the unit but if they had no FL(Florida) on the tail but were from florida then they belong to Hurlburt Field or Duke Field.

Better be careful...."I" wouldn't want to be caught snooping around trying to get info on ANYTHING out of "Spook Central" at Hurlburt.

        Ever see Men in Black?

Were these the ones I heard Sat. night? They were buzzing around LOW and in circles out in Spanish Springs. Deffinately not your average activity.
You'll get your chance, smart guy!
