Looks like someone left off an inspection panel in pic 2. Maybe this was a maint flight with a tech in the back seat.

Gotta back track on the back seater without a helmet, but it does look like they left the lavatory door off.

That guy in the backseat has to be Obi-Wan Kenobi....he's training Hacker in the ways of the force!

                Wow, cool photos Victor!

Yes, the back seater is wearing his helmet...he merely has the dual amber visor setup like in this shot. As you can see, I don't have that setup anymore.

The "missing panel" is actually a cooling vent.

                Thanks!

For the argon-cooled laser cannon, right?

                      Re: Randy Haskin's Eagle

I have friend who used to be with the same fighter group back in the early 90's. He was there during the transition from F4 to F15.

I'd always ask about the same question; "What's it take to get a ride?"

The answer was always the same; "Well, If you're not a Congressmen or Senator you can start by blowin' the Colonel and you'd better hope he goes for that sorta thing."

                      Never did get a ride.

A BUFF that landed shortly after our flight

I can't for the life of me think of anything that happens in a jet fighter that is worth doing that....

I like the de-arming shot, dont suppose you can say what the pratice stuff is simulating.

Nothing at all...there are 600 gallon fuel tanks hanging under the wings, a travel pod hanging under the left belly station, and two LANTIRN pods affixed under the intakes. No simulated ordnance since today was just a cross-country flight.
