Thanks for the post. This video reminds me of a question for pilots. I see one section where CM is very close to the deck. Is there any advantage to flying that low besides the bonus adrenalin rush?

I had a dream once where I was flying and kept picking up altitude on parts of the course and then using it to pick up speed by diving slightly in the correct places in an attempt to pass somebody else. In my dream, it never did work but as a rookie, I kept trying, just never quite made the pass. I lost!

Is there a strategy you'd be willing to share regarding altitude when racing?

Next September I promise! I have one shot of the other side about 300 yards away going 400+ mph. Not exactly what you want for an art study project.

Some peoples kids..........sheesh  Hey Randy, hope your Christmas is great. Have fun while you're over there. If you ever get up to York, look up Steve and Gill. (The Brits that met that have visited the Base Camp). I know they would love to see you and show you around. Steve knows all the cool places around there to go that would be of high interest for you personally. Gill could take your wife shopping while you are out with Steve. He's a brilliant tour guide. He knows alot of people too. If you need contact info, I think you have my email.

Well, you know.....if photographers on this site can troll for complements on their pictures, can't artists have a little fun trolling too? :-)

Whoa no way man! That is just 'super-d-duper' for all the kids out there.

I guess those twin-screws would make a pretty good mining implement!
