  • This Is A Test

Since I am often amazed at how much each of you know about the smallest details about anything that flys, I decided to see who'd be the first to accurately guess whose plane this it.

I'll bet someone gets in within the first 5 posts.

Let me give you a hint; Richard Petty shares this!

Hint: well it's not an O-200 so it's not a Formula One.

As a nerd, that TOTALLY made my day!!!

I defer to nerds higher on the food chain to actually answer the original question.

And you'd be right Randy! Your prize its the A+ on the attached image.

Now, O' Brilliant One, can you tell me the year of the penny and why that's important? No phone calls anybody!

                        The hint was the #43.

And Chixfly, I could be wrong but I don't think Dennis and Richard share a son named Kyle, he belongs only to his Harley and Richard.

Well, I know on most R-1340's the penny is the year the engine was overhauled.

I think Dennis's penny would probably be a 2006 as this was a fresh overhaul on his racer this year.

We will have a 2007 penny on "Warlock's" new engine....grrrrrrrrrrr

Here's a shot of me with our "old" engine

                            Re: This Is A Test

I never would have thought of that. But, that's not it. At least not according to one of the crew who called it to my attention when I was shooting photos of it in the pits.

Anybody else wanna hazard a guess?
