I had some great sun for some pictures of my brother's Rocket. These were taken at Sporty's Pilot Shop. Air-to-air tomorrow. Happy Turkey to all! Peas

OK, I need some advice on exposures. THis photo shows that challenge of getting the detail of both the black and the white without losing either one. What do you "aliens" recommend for settings? Peas :dunno:

Are there any good 3-view drawings for that airplane, it would make a nice RC pylon model? Is it a optical illusion or is there taper in that wing?

Hi Arch: Go to the bottom of the gallery page here:

That wing is tapered -- it's the Rocket F1 "EVO", with the new wing developed by HPA. It's fast -- and slow! (Which the RV guys hate!)
Tha main Rocket page is here: http://www.teamrocketaircraft.com/index.html
Happy Thanksgiving! Peas

Thanks,
I really like the Rocket but the hershey bar wing kept me from looking to model it. The taper wing makes it a great model subject, for me any way.

I got the DVD of pics from Barry today and here are some of my favorites! I flew my brother's Super Cub as the photo plane. We're looking forward to warm weather shooting so we can open a window!

Yeah, yeah...I suppose we could turn the heat on! BTW, how'd they keep the Bear so clean in these shots? Or is that Photoshop magic, or cold weather and a tight engine? :dunno: :D

LOL.. Heat.. what's that?? Shot out of John Parker's Seneca with both doors off. I think he said it was something close to zero outside (we were at 10,000.)
This was taken not long after they painted her and she's always cleen when under power.. it's only when she's running slow that the gunk builds up...
