  • Birgitta's Reno...

A Kerchenfaut or a Goss will never have any problem recruiting willing crew to work on their racing projects. Others, however, have a bit more difficulty!

        Hi Randy

        Yeah, she's good, isn't she!

So maybe we can work something out...

Can you get Bill and Brian to give her (or us!) access to the top of the Risky trailer occasionally during qualifying next year??

Birgitta does some cool stuff from Race trailers -- here's a shot of a BB startup before The Saturday heat race.

LOL, yes that's my beloved! She sure does work harder than I do at Reno.

I'll email you when I get the other computer fired up...

Hey Neal, have you seen the 2006 Reno pictures on Jan Peters site. He's got a great shot of Brigitta with you in the backround, in the 'People' section.
Some other good photographer shots as well.
Jan Peters site (for those of you that don't know).

Yes we did see that -- and Birgitta actually really likes the shot! Nobody ever really likes photographs of themselves...

Jan has turned into a very fine photographer -- his site is well worth visiting!

Don't know how many here know of it, but Jan's sidekick Gerhard Schmid was selling at Reno his new book, called "Full Throttle: The Reno Air Races Today". It is hardcover, 225 pages with probably 600 absolutely spectacular photographs of all classes from Reno 04 and 05. Text in German, Spanish and English -- the translation from German to English sometimes leaves something to be desired, but the point of this spectacular production is definitely the photographs. It is definitely one of the best, if not the very best pure Air Racing photo books ever done. It's a limited edition of 5000 (I have number 2848) and should be on any enthusiast's bookshelf.

I'm not generally known for promoting other artists' work, but this book is really, really good!

I'll second Neal's praise for Gerhard's book. It has some great shots in there. I managed to get #13/5000 (my race number ).
