                Kevin: I think I recall you saying that there was spar damage in the forced landing. Did you have to replace the entire bottom skin and main spar? I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to remove the lower skin and main spar -- Having built a Glasair III wing, I can imagine that the removal process would be tough, messy, brutal or via some hi-tech milling machine. Please tell me it wasn't done with a Dremel Moto Tool!!!!

                Or was there only localized damage? Peas

                  We made an exhaustive inspection of the spar once the forward lower skin was removed and found nothing even remotely damaged. We made a new lower skin peice and layered it back in from the spar to the leading edge. The repair is very nice and with the many added "improvements" I believe it is stronger than before. Jon likes more is best and I think in this case he is right.
