    Just got a message from Hacker that 1983 Unlimited Champion Neil Anderson died from cancer at the age of 72. In spite of some monumental 'f*#k-ups' (the cut pylon in '85 and the landing gear fiasco with Mr. Awesome in '89), Neil was a phenominal pilot.

    So long, buddy....

      Yup. Neil was chief test pilot for General Dynamics, and the lead on the F-16 program. That was why he was chosen for FART (Frank's Air Race Team) back in '83.

                Yes, the 'unofficial' Dreadnought team t-shirt that year was light blue with big red FART vertically down one side...and in little tiny black letters it said Frank's Air Race Team.
