I went to airrace.org to see if just maybe they had some speeds posted. There were only some in the Formula One category so far.
Gary Hubler was the fastest shown at 257.287, about 0.2 mph faster than last year. In 2002 he was about 1.25 mph faster than that. his best ever was the blistering 260.145 speed in 2003.
Jason Somes qualified #4 Alley Cat at 240.899 today. They show Birch Entriken 3rd fastest so far at 237.178 in #50 Scarlet Screamer.
