    Jimmy Leeward really did look pretty "racy" there for a while -- even the horizontal was clipped. In 1978 had a Dwight Thorne engine -- soon changing to engines by Jack Cochrane for several years. A while back I happened to be around when Dan Martin and Jimmy were talking a bit about sets of custom long nose gears he and Jimmy tried for a while -- they had the same luck with them that everybody else has had.

        You're welcome -- it's been fun for me to dig into the archives and really assess for myself the worth of what I was doing 25 to 30 years ago, as well as being able to share this stuff a bit...

        And actually, I think I was doing some pretty good work back then.
