Its a rare pilot who has a better sense of where the aircraft was and what it is doing than Lefty. The Skyfire video that was (is?) on the White Lightnin' site is a perfect example. Beautiful flying.
Those are great pics......Remember back around 1969 when Greenamayer was disqualified from racing and another pilot (can't remember his name) flew Conquest 1. That was the lowest I think I've ever seen anyone fly. If I remember right he won but was disqualified for flying to low.

Can't say as I do. Anyone remember this? I do remeber DG quiting racing over a disqualification for fly on the crowd side of the deadline.
