The 1973 T-6 National Champion Bill Turnbull passed away peacefully early this morning. His wife Linda and both her children were with him. Please keep Linda and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Another good man has left us.

My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. Very sad to hear another historic race winnner has left us, but good to hear that he went so peacefully and with family nearby.

Rest in peace dear flyer, and may the angels always be your wingman.
