This could be really bad news for the program..! Makes sense where it happened though, Kevin was scheduled to be at Sun-n-Fun... dunno if he was actually there but since it happened in zona... I suspect so.

Kevin posts here, I'm hoping once he gets over the shock of it all, he'll be in to let us know...

Bummer but THANK GOD he's OK!

            AMEN! Wayne.

Planes and equipment can be replaced. Pilots cannot.

            Kevin is a class act!

Hopefully, the report is right on the injuries and WRONG on the damage....

We've had a couple of "lucky" breaks of late.. Pilot's OK, planes lost..

Not good but WAY better than what could have been!!

That sucks. Thank God he is OK. That was the my first clear cut personal favorite sport class plane. What an absolutely beautiful aircraft. Truly sad to see it go. On the other hand, I'm stoked he's OK.
You'll get your chance, smart guy!

One thing you can be sure about with Kevin, he will be flying an NXT again in record time. He has a trully talented crew (Yuri) and has the devotion to the project to do what is necessary to get her back up and running asap. Kevin is in my humble opinion the newest addition to the roster of the Sport Classes angel investors, as well as that of RARA, and the perfection of race #42 is evidence of that.

I saw the plane at Reno and Sun 'n Fun, and do believe that it is nicer than Nemesis. That pinkish-purple just doesn't look good IMHO. Real sad to see it go.

Speaking of which...how's Cloud Dancer's spinner doing these days after the collision with the T-28 wing??

We're going to have to drill out the spinner, but it should be done by, at the most, the end of this month.
