I sent an e-mail to GG to see if she wanted to do a road trip, but she
hasn't replied. She's probably sleeping at this hour. If we do, do you have room for us?

Wow, Morss would be a really interesting guy to see speak... I think I read somewhere that he's actually raced in more races than anyone else?

Good choice! Wish I could make it down for this one!

His website makes very interesting reading, and he's a super neat
        person as well.

          Hi Betty,
Bob Miller and I were talking about it, (he had already planned to go to the originally scheduled one), do you have the address and stuff, (cost)? I can't find my letters. I've been getting them, just can't find them. I am going to China and Russia for a couple of weeks to pick up a couple of Q400's in three weeks and need to plan before I go. Maybe Brad can go too if the seats are available? Or do I HAVE to email John first?
          Thanks,
          Bill
          Never mind. Maybe next year

Have a good and safe trip to Russia. I would love to be going.
The reason I said to contact John was to get a head count for
the dinners we have to order. The price is $27.00, paid with your
reservation, or at the door, preferably after you have made a
reservation. We will have a little "wiggle room" on the numbers, but if
you know you will be there, just call/write John with your choice of
entee. Two choices: Breast of Chicken Parmegiana or Roast Sirloin of
Beef. There will also be pasta and the usual salad, vegie, and desert
and beverage. There will be a no-host bar at 6:00 PM, followed by
dinner at 7:00 PM. Francesco's is on the corner of Pardee and
Hegenberger, not too far from the Oakland airport. Hotels and motels nearby, from Airport Hilton to Holiday Inn Express. But then, you guys will probably go back to SF and bunk at Bob's.

You ROCK Betty! Thanks. Yeah, there are a few people I wish I could take with me. It's gonna be cool. (Well, literally, brrrrrrrrrr) as part of our trip home will be through Magadan in Siberia.....in the middle of February........ Never been to Asia, and I can't wait.
So, I'll let John know, and see what Bradley has going, and with luck he can come to the party as well.

If Brad wants company on a road trip, I am available. I can meet him in Seattle, then he or I could drive from there if he is able/willing. How are you planning to go and when? Maybe we can all hook up.

Well Betty, we of course would fly on Alaska from SEA to OAK. Leave Sat AM. We would then spend the night in SFO with Bob and then fly SFO to SEA Sunday morning. I have enough passes that if you wanted to meet us in SEA or me in GEG, we could fly down together. You would need to find your way over to SFO to meet me to fly home Sunday morning. It's one of the rules if you want to fly for freee Why don't you email me Betty. Another option is available if you wanted to fly from PSC to OAK round trip on your own schedule. (PSC-SEA-OAK). You could be a lot more flexible as far as when you wanted to go down there and then go home. You can PM me here too if that's easier.
