  • Mary Dilda to speak in Florida

Here is the bit from the Orlando Sentinal......

    Aviation lecture

Aerobatic pilot Mary Dilda, the Reno Air Race champion, will present an Aviation Expressions lecture at the Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun at 7 p.m. Friday.

Cost: $12; Florida Air Museum members, $8; students, $6.

Dilda's career spans general, military, commercial and aerobatic performance aviation. She has been flying professionally since 1980, when she earned her flight instructor's certificate at Oklahoma State University and became an instructor there.

After graduation, she joined the Air Force and flew the C-9 Nightingale and the C-141 Starlifter as an instructor and examiner pilot.

Today, along with flying the T-6 Texan, Dilda flies as a first officer for a major U.S. cargo carrier.

Thanks for the Head's Up Randy..

Havn't heard much from Mary and Steve lately, wish I could go out and join them in FL for SnF this year!

Did it a couple year's running (or was it three.. who can remember anymore!) but can't afford the luxury of "discretional trips" any more!

$$ Have Camera $$ Will Travel.. that's my motto these days..

Would be nice to get out of the month long rain up here tho!

I'm beginning to suspect that I'm growing gills!
