  • Reno in 3D

Okay kids, grab those funky red and blue glasses they gave you at that special showing of House of Wax in 3D, and check out Reno in 3D. These aren't exactly sterling examples of the art of stereo, but a lot of my results don't translate well to anaglyph (red/blue process). If anyone cares I'll do more.

Due to the "overwhelming" positive response....

I'm off to Triumphest (cars, not bikes) through the weekend, but will post more stereos next week. Now that I'm getting a handle on how to set up the anaglyphs, I've got some much cooler stuff.

If anyone cares enough to wish to buy some cheap 3D glasses, here are a couple sources:

              View-Master, 3D Glasses, 3D Photography, 3D Camera, Eclipse Glasses

You want the red/blue style glasses, not the polarizing ones. If you're willing to spend a couple extra bucks, I highly recommend the plastic frames over the cardboard style. The thin filters in the cardboard frames will tend to cause some distortion.

Round two highlights will include the victory celebration on the ramp, aircraft in the air (not air to air unfortunately), and round motor startup smoke.
