Ok I know every one took some. Even the photo gods , you know the ones I'm talking about. Most of you erased them but if you didnt here is a chance to make others laugh

Nothing against Argo, but I was trying to get the startup sequence on Big Boss Man on Saturday when Argo was towed in front of it just as the right engine caught and reved. Ditto with the truck.
Went into the trash, but haven't emptied it yet...

        Re: The hearbreaker photos

Why do you guys torture yourselves with the bloopers of trucks, people, banners, flying saucers, giant reptiles and the like getting in the way?? I simply erase the ooops images and are left with perfectly arranged images to look at. Yeah right! Who believes that one??????????? Actually I did have a few, but I DID erase them. Keep them coming though as they are entertaining. Hehehehehehe. Wait, I think I have one of a half of a racer. Or was it just the tail cone? You have to love that.

            Re: The hearbreaker photos

I pretty much deleted all shots on the spot of that stupid fuel truck... and any others that just plain sucked. That's one of the great things about digital, as the planes fly by I snap of a crap load of pictures then while they are on the back side of the course I scan through them real quick and dump the ones that are crap. Works for me
While not total junk here is a shot I was a little disapointed in. I wanted the flag AND the snowbirds all in focus. I hate it when I get baffled by Depth Of Field

Yeah, I know. But there wasn't a Canadian flag anywhere around at the time so I did the best with what I had. Besides... Ahhhh.... I like it better that way... if it was in focus

Not necessarily so. Speaking as a Canadian, I think the composition says more this way. I think most of us up here are proud to call America our friend and ally - I know I am (even if it does sometimes feel like we're dancing with an elephant )

                  cheers

                    Re: The hearbreaker photos

This one would have been a little blury anyway, but without the bodies in front I could have framed it lower and caught the checkered flag in the frame.

It would look more ballanced if you had one more out of focus head on the right hand side of the shot

look at it this way you now have a shot planned for next year, try to keep a large bundle of razor wire handy to discourage anyone from sneeking in front of you !

                        Well,
I am really sort of fond of this one.
Or was it the one where I took a picture of the ground?
Fortunately I deleted THAT one, HAH!

You'll never know how cheesy the camera is that I was using. It's a point and shoot binocular/camera. Best resolution is 640x480. But hey, it took some pretty sweet pictures and as soon as I have some time I will put a gallery up on airraceaddict.com of the best.
