                        Looking at that pic....there would be still room to loose; how about a racing canopy on that Blue Thunder ? 20 mph more speed ?

                          I don't think you appreciate the 'size' of the Thunder Mustang, Juke. I think you'd need a midget/dwarf....or maybe Patti Wagstaff...to fly it if you put a smaller canopy on it.

                              Actually there is very real possibility of a smaller profile canopy. The windscreen framework was designed very strong for rollover protection integral with the fuselage skins so there would be issues there, but a same height canopy would work for many pilots approximately John's size or smaller.

                              Add some racing wingtips, some under wing cleanup, and maybe someday even a Strega type belly scoop and maybe the supercharger isn't as needed as some think.
