  • Need to find a ride

    Folks,
I am looking for a fighter jet ride for my father. My father flew A-4s off the USS Hancock in Vietnam. He gave up a commission to settle down and be a father. He has mentioned how much flying in a jet ment to him. He really wants to take another trip in a jet. He was in charge of flight training for Northwest Airlines but flying fighter jets never got out of his system. All this to say. I would be willing to pay money to get him up into a jet (preferably in a two seater with the sticks so he can do a manuver or two). Do you know anyone willing to do this? He might be willing to simply fly if the jet was new. He gave up what he really wanted and was an awesome dad. I would love to pay him back somehow. Any thoughts? Feel free to email me directly at jhaglund@imb.org. Thanks!

Re: Need to find a ride

At one time Starfighters had offered rides in one of there TF-104's.
    I think they were around $5,000 .
That's the only jet ride I've herd of.
