Great stuff, guys. Skip Holm says that it's better to be lucky than good, but you guys are good! Our luck! Peas

Thanks, Peas. Tyson the Mustangs cranking is a great shot, but Sean Tucker and the T-6's is awesome.

By the way I'm sure you saw on the overhead flyby shot, it's time to clean your sensor.

          Re: Oshkosh 2004

I did get some C-130 stuff, it just a big old boring grey plane to me. Fat Albert is much better looking. I only got a couple of the fly over's. 4 T-6's together, and one with 3. With them flying right in the damn sun it is tough. Plus I only have one body, so I did not feel like playing lense roulette.

As for Shockwave, I only saw the one truck on Saturday. Here is a shot from Peoria last weekend.

As for being there, I'm from Wisconsin (in Illinois now), so I have not missed Oshkosh since 1983!!

Remarkable! How 'bout the wing bend on the C-130? And notice how big Riff Raff is next to the P-51.

I saw a C-130J at KLUK in June. The takeoff roll was s-h-o-r-t! Those new props are impressive!

A few more. A better shot of Daddy's Girl is first. If this plane is at Reno to compete for the Heritage Trophy, it wins hands down. Getting to Oshkosh at 6:30AM has its advantages. I think I took close to 100 images of P-51's trying all kinds of different angles. A couple hours later, hundreds of people surrounded them!!

If you look close at the Excalibur shot you will see I'm not an expert at cloning yet.

Wow, the two trucks together is really cool. Are using a mkII yet or still the 10D? I can't tell from the EXIF since it is not embedded in the image.

                      Great photos!!

The performance of the C-130J is nothing short of mind blowing. My wing had H's, and we thought we were the baddest things in the sky. The J's have impressed me. Any one looking for a great read...try Herk: The Hero of the Skies

                        Tim & Tyson,

                        Nice shots.

Tim, the shot that you posted if the 130J was being flown by my younger brother. Thanks for keeping an eye on him for me. I never know where he is from one day to the next.

                          Rick,
Isn't that your younger brother in the picture in the back of Bob Love's mustang also?

                          Tim & Tyson,
Great photos! If you have any other photos of the C-130J demo, I'd like to see them if you have a chance.

                          Thanks!

This is the only other C-130 pic. A split second after the other one.
