White Lightning was badly wrecked a few years back and they were still looking for money last year to fix it. If and when they do fix it will it be flying and maybe race again. My guess is it will be flying but not racing.

from what i've heard ladd gardner, lefty's son, was thinking about racing it, but that's nothing solid, just a rumor.

Can I say? With White Lightinn, it's going to be all about bux. If Ladd can convince his beloved dad, Lefty, to keep the dream afloat, it's going to take a hurculean effort by them and .... Us... the fans to make it happen.
So... that said, I pass the hat that gets me so much static elsehwhere... if you want to see White Lightnin on the course again, or even on the airshow circuit.
Folks. It's up to you. As with Rare Bear, the fans can make a HUGE difference. We, can make it happen...
