Rare Bear was rolled out of her cave this morning to complete some engine tests on the ramp at the Pylon Seminar in Reno Nevada. John Penny ran up the motor to only find out they still have some carb problems. The crew plans to replace the carb and test her tommorrow.
I had a chance to talk with John Penny after he climbed down from the Gruman Bearcat and he said laughing "The Bear just doesn't like the new four bladed prop".
