Is anyone going to Stead airport for the Reno Air Racing pylon training school next week?

If there is an interest I would be glad to send daily reports to this site.

I, too, am hoping for reports, including numerous photots from PRS. I had hoped to attend, but personal business is going to keep me away.

I am going up on Friday. I plan on getting there around 9:30-10:00 am. I will be the one with the camcorder, camera, and oh ya, the cooler. Stop buy and say hi; always willing to meet fellow air racing fanatics. Hope to see you there!

That leads to a question. For those of us going to PRS, how shall we identify each other? I drive a red 2 door Dodge Stratus, and if we can park on the ramp, that's where I'll be. I'll also be wearing a dark colored shirt with a dragon on it.

unfortunately, i will not be able to spend everyday there as i have in the past, i just started a new job so i need to be there, but rest assured i WILL be there for the big shebang

I drive a Ford Explorer, dark green. I have a Boise State University sticker on the back window. I will be there Friday. I do not know what I will be wearing but definately look for the car. I have a shaved head with Nike sunglasses. I will have a camcorder and a camera. I can't wait to meet you all. If you want, call me at (916) 208-1179 so we can discuss anything. See you there!!!

Or a blue F-150. All depends on if a friend goes with me or not.

Treat Williams - PRS

I heard this morning on the radio that actor Treat Williams will be attending the PRS (as a pilot). Does anyone know what class / aircraft he will be flying?

This could be great exposure for the races!

Now I don't know how I got it mixed up (or if I did) but what *I* heard was that Pres Bush was coming out to qualify for racing...

Do you think maybe my sources could be smoking something funny ??
