  • Wing spotted on Flatbed in Manteca??

Just caught a glimpse of it today, but in the west bound lanes of the Manteca bypass I saw an 18 wheeler pulling a flatbed trailer with a large silver wing and prop and I think a cowling a engine. Didn't see a fuselage. The wing appeared to be one piece, all metal and was mounted vertically, chordwse. Like I said, only caught a glimpse of it, but I'm sure it was a warbird of some sort. Anyone have any info......was headed towards the SF bay area.

So which airplane used to race as #82? Is this Matt Jackson's American Spirit headed to the airport? With a quick search, I couldn't find a current entry list for PRS or 2004. Peas
