Hummn, I'll prolly get my tiete in a wringer here on this but...

I'm over at my GF's and just watched a train come in from the east to the seaport community that PDX/Vancouver is, and every single one of the cars on that train (about a hundred) had a Hyundai container on it...

Am I missing something here??

Obviously, I have zero idea where the containers came from, what's in them or where they are going but... again.. Am I missing something here? Are we all missing something here?

Would I feel better if those containers said "EVERGREEN" on them or some other U.S. branded entity?

Darn right!

Wassup with this? I mean EVERY rail car had a container and ALL of them were, .... for lack of a better term...

NOT FROM HERE!!!!!!!!

This seems SO WRONG!

Set me straight!

He who provides the best value, wrests dollars from pockets. Hyundai has clearly found a niche.

Be careful what you wish for Wayne...
That "Evergreen" you've seen on shipping containers is not an American company! The shipping giant, Evergreen, is a Taiwanese company and owner of EVA Airlines, not the Oregon based Evergreen (air cargo, etc.) that many of us Americans knew first.
