  • "Warlock" #75 POTW

    Wayne,

Thank you very much for posting the GREAT shot of "Warlock"#75
    as your current POTW!

As a lot of you know, we have been racing at Reno since 1981,
(we were entered at Mojave 1979 but the Pilot/Owner was busy
cropdusting) We have made the T-6 Gold Championship Race every year except one, (1983- the #$@% Slick-50 year!)

We have finished 2nd in the Gold 5 times, and 3rd 8 times......
And we were the 1992 AT-6 National Points Champion, after winning a race in Redmond, OR, and finishing 2nd that year at Reno.

The Pilot/Owner (my Dad Al Goss), has said for years that we would keep racing as long as it's fun......and as most of you know- we do have FUN!! Our "Warlock" music/beer/margarita bash on Wednesday after quals every year has become a "must attend" event for several hundred Ramp Rats....and I think most people attending enjoy it as much as we do!!

We are looking forward to Reno 2004, and hope to give Nick, Mary and Tom C. a run for the Gold!

Thanks again for making us your POTW!

Here is a link with our racing record:

Hey Randy, you know nothing would have made my day any better than calling that T-6 race with Al taking the checkered flag 1st. I'll see you on the ramp with "Tequilla". The song and the beverage have to go together. Damm, what a neat band. You don't need an invitation to come for a visit you know. Our T-6 is look'en great and fly'en great. She will never dust a pylon, just some fun flying.
