A project I've been working for the past several months. I wanted a desk model, but I don't have the patience for all the taping, painting, and weathering. So I designed this.

I also designed a Strega and a Dago Red model to test how it would work on a warbird.

I uploaded the files to Shapeways which 3D printed the parts on their machines. I got the parts in the mail a couple weeks later. Really convenient system. They also make it really easy to offer models for others to use. Flying Brix Shapeways store
So far I have #30, a standard Lancair Legacy, Lancair IV, Strega, and Dago Red.

Average price is about $60 if you get it printed with colors. You can save $10-15 by ordering everything in white and painting yourself.
