    Saw a post on a different site that as of today we have a flying XP 82 can anybody Conferm this either way please??

      It flew. Was supposed to be a high speed taxi test but ended up flying for about five minutes. They seem happy with what they saw and had no major issues.

          It sounds like the Howard Hughes high speed taxi test in the "Spruce Goose". Glad all ended OK. What a treat if it showed up in Reno this year.

                Well - that's an improvement over the first one built, it would not get off the ground!!

                What a project.

                Dave Cornell had bid on building brand new props for these P-82 projects.

                I am currently building an r/c one out of two giant Top Flight P-51's, it has a 117" wingspan. I was inspired by Tom's project this summer to do it.

                    The "Official" first flight is scheduled for the end of Jan.

                        All I can say is wow.

                        Watching the take off and landing, was like watching a synchronized warbird dance.

                        Can't wait to see more of her flights.

                        Come-on September, need my warbird fix!
