  • B-25?

Back in 1982, Jim Ricketts of Aero Nostalgia at Stockton, CA had a B-25 called "Dream Lover". It was polished metal with a white underside, and medium blue vertical stabilizers and cowlings.

It suffered an off-field landing at Reno '82 and collapsed the nose gear.

The last time I saw this plane was in about 1984 in the Aero Nostalgia hangar. The glass nose which had been damaged in the accident had been replaced with a solid gun-nose, but I never saw this plane fly again in this configuration.

Does anyone know what became of this Mitchell? I think an organization in the mid-west has a B-25 that is painted just like "Dream Lover" (sans-nose art) but it has a glass nose on it. Is this the same airplane?

    Speeddemon,

I don't know where this plane is now either. Last time I saw it was in the 84-85 timeframe in the same location that you did. Is Aero Nostalgia still around?

Pic is of Dream Lover after they repaired the damage to the nose.
