I now have three jacket patches I picked up at Kitty Hawk. They will go, one at a time, to the next three people who send me a stamped, self addressed, envelope. Best I can do. The week was great, even in the rain. Rachel Twine of BC got the first one.

I'm sure the patches are long gone by now but I would love to hear of your experience at Kitty Hawk.

Our local EAA Chapter gave a maximum effort to put together some programing with the local school district relating to the importance of the event, but it needed more lead-time to get it off the ground. We are now looking to integrate aviation related programs into literacy, math & science programs on an on-going basis with them.

... missed opportunities sometimes result in things more lasting?
