    So young Johnny Maloney -- (who like me is no longer particularly young) has been racing for over thirty years now, and is flying the P-51A this year. How many airplanes has he raced?

    Started out in the Spam cans (one or both?)

    several years in the Super Corsair

    The Paul family P-40E a couple of times.

    The FW-190

    The POF Corsair in a demo race.

    Now the P-51A

    Anything else?

    Clearly a skilled and trusted pilot...

          Thank you for the video. Looks like a fun race for Mustang lovers like me. That Yak is quite quick. Dusty Dowd is legend in Formula 1 for his ability to get speed out of stock slab wing Cassutts. He is a great believer in dealing with details -- half a mile per hour here, half a mile an hour there and suddenly you are fast. Another very interesting man.
