For watch nerds like me, yes they do. I won't wear it if it is not mechanical. No quartz for me, but I'm in the low dollar range, $1,000 and under, can't afford an Oris yet. I do love their watches though.

I can't see how anyone who has ever looked at the movement of a finely made chronometer, would not be fascinated by it immediately. The fact that these movements, some with more than ten complications, have been crafted since the 1800's is amazing.

There are magazines for everything. I've even seen magazines for airliners.

Yes, there are magazines for everything, if you look for them. Being a watch lover, I love looking through watch magazines to see the mechanical feats that are being created out there in the watch world!

If you love looking under the valve cover of a RR Merlin or Griffon, I find it hard to believe you won't enjoy looking at the movement of a fine timepiece!

p.s. I tried to copy and pasted someone elses quote, but I didn't get the nice bubble. What did I do wrong?

              Bad attempts at watch photos.
