Streaga out?

Streaga just pulled out while heading down the chute. Looks like the canopy disintigrated! Anyone have a spare?

From the photo after Matt got her down and back on the ramp, it literally looks like half of the canopy ripped off, metal frame and all. Time will tell...

PM's old one didn't open like that. It flipped up but the glass might be close or be trimmed. Someone probably has a mold for Strega's I would think.

A few years back, one of the L-39s lost their entire canopy on the take-off roll.

One of the reasons Thom wanted another on PM was the opening that was caused in some of the racers by torque, and I'm sure low pressure, on the airframes.

I'm guessing that the canopy on Strega has been changed out at least once over the years. They probably have one collecting dust on a hanger wall.

Did this happen on the first lap? Aside from the immediate concern, how were Strega's speeds? Is this something that can be made overnight assuming the mold is in hand or does it have a long curing process?
