Found in todays Reno Gazette Journal. A thank you ad for all its sponsors, volunteers, and friends of the Air Races. Can this actually be true?????????????????? I know there must be hundreds of John Parkers around. But there is a thank you for a John Parker under the Friends of the air races....... hhhmmmmmmm..

the fellow who flew the Piaggio down the runway twice on.. what was it, Sunday<?> is also named "John Parker" I do not know if that is the person they are referring to, or if this is a typo or what..

sort of cruel irony in the long run I guess..
