  • hotels for race weekend?

Looks like I'm heading to Reno! Any tips on where to stay? I'll be bringing two kids (8 and 10) and at least two adults. I'm cheap too, so nothing pricey please. Are there any spots that all the race fans congregate in the evening? Remember: Cheap is good, I need to save the cash for a new supply of t-shirts and coffee mugs.

We got rooms at John Ascuaga's Nugget for $67 a night (+ taxes and fees).

We found rooms at the Ramada Inn just last week. Two queen beds for two nights was $180 plus tax. Still had plenty and they are pretty close to 395.

I signed a contract with Circus way back in Jan for my group. We got our rooms for$32.00 pernight on non-race days, and $80.00 per night on Fri and Sat, but then I book for about 100 or more people. Rooms are double/double and sleep up to 4 people.

Never wait 'til the week before the races.

Good place for parking, access to 395, entertainment on the mid-way, pet friendly, good shopping, good access to food, also room service food.
