Every year, we all get wrapped up in all these messages about "who's going to win" and "Who's going to be fastest", etc. That's all great speculation, and seriously one of the reasons I love AAFO.com (Thank you Wayne for providing this site to all of us crazies!!) But this year, after the last few years, I would like to publicly say a Prayer.

Dear Lord, thank you so much for providing us with another year of our favorite passtime! Thank you for connecting us with other people who share this passion. Please keep all the participants safe from harm, and safe from injury. In our Father's name, we Pray, Amen!

I have tickets, reservations and I thought all systems good to go. Now there has been family and health problems and a wife who after 28 years still doesn't get the importance of this event to me. I am in a flat spin and running out of altitude, time and patience.
