  • Lowell K. Brueland WWII pilot of P-51D "Grim Reaper"

Brueland passed July 2 2012 at the young age of 93. Rubino's P-51D "Grim Reaper" is painted up in Brueland's honor. The Grim Reaper raced a few years at Reno in Bronze/Silver with Dan Martin as pilot.

Brueland exemplified the hard-working type that was not in it for fame or glory. He went out every day and did his job the best he could tallying 12.5 aerial victories along the way.
