Corsair

No doubt about it, Sue Petersen takes wonderful photographs!
This beauty was shot in Oregon's Columbia gorge from the tail gunner position of Evergreen Aviation's B-17. (the Corsair is also owned by Evergreen) The beautifully restored FG-1D is slated for display in the museum that will house the Hughes Flying Boat (
Spruce Goose) which is slated for completion in mid-2000. CLICK HERE for more information on this airplane and the others in the collection that will accompany the "Spruce Goose" on display.
